Mini Makeup Haul

Rad Maverix Mini Beauty Haul

It may come as a surprise to some that my vanity is not covered with 10 different kinds of blushes, 4 different bronzers and 40 lipsticks. I’m more of a “find what works and stick with it” kind of girl. The older I get the more I want to experiment with new looks but I’ve noticed I always end up coming back to the same neutral/bronzy look.

I made a few new purchases that I am loving so far. Have you tried these yet?

First, my eyeliner was running really low/dry so I purchased the Kat Von D Tattoo Liner. It is unbelievable how precise the line is! Instead of your normal felt tip applicator this product is a very fine-pointed brush to provide the ultimate sleek line. I have oily skin/eye lids and this liner stays perfect all day!

I have always been a huge Urban Decay fan. I’ve been using their Primer Potion (in the color Sin) along with their eye shadow in Lost for more than 5 years. They were actually the only 2 products I used as color on my eyelids for the longest time! I’m serious when I say; I find something that works and use it for-ev-er. Unfortunately, Urban Decay stopped making my signature eye shadow color, so I had to find something new. I thought this was the perfect opportunity to try something different. I ended up purchasing this Sephora Collection Eye Shadow Palette N°08 Sunrise To Sunset Bronze and the Urban Decay Primer Potion in Eden. The Primer Potion in the color Eden reminds me of a concealer and has no sheen or metallic color to it unlike the Sin Primer Potion that can be used as a light shimmery eye shadow base.

I felt all kinds of fancy after purchasing the palette of delicious bronzey eye shadows that I felt obligated to buy a blending brush. :)

Lastly, I needed to replace my Anastasia Beverly Hills "Perfect Brow" Pencil. It was old and apparently, the new Anastasia Brow Wiz pencil is all the rage. It is a thin pencil so the application is easier for girls like me who were not blessed with beautiful thick eyebrows. This pencil also has a spool on the reverse end; I'm not the only one that brushes out my eyebrows, am I?

Have you tried any new products this Fall?
